Is there a Minimum Rental order amount?
Yes, there is a minimum order amount of $500.00 for client pickup & return ("WILL CALL") (plus tax). There is also a minimum rental order of $1,000.00+ for orders which would like the Delivery/pickup service (plus additional mileage location charge- amount depends on actual destination). (San Diego Delivery/Pickup Minimum of $5,000.00 rental order. Plus Mileage charge amount will be determined on exact delivery address). Calabasas/Thousand Oaks Minimum of $2,500.00 rental order Plus additional mileage charge $575.00 estimate depending on actual location address. Los Angeles County minimum rental order amount of $1,200.00 plus additional mileage charge. All rental orders will be charged a 10% tax fee plus small c.c service fee if paying with any credit card/Paypal payment options.

Do you offer packages for themed rentals?
Yes we offer packages for every theme. Client Pickup & Return ("WILL CALL") is a minimum rental order of $500.00 plus 10% tax and c.c service fee charge.You can rent items individually or per package. You can email us with a request of what theme you are interested in along with your information and we will send you the packages available. Basic packages do not include delivery/pickup or Design setup.

We also require a security Check hold (TBD) for the security of rentals. (This amount will be returned to you when rentals are returned or picked up in the same order you picked them up). If damages occur to rental item(s) client is responsible to replace item(s) within 2 days, otherwise Chakoda Design will cash Security check hold replace item with amount determined and return the remaining balance to client.
How Soon Should I place my order?
Placing an order is completely up to you, however most of our rental items are one of a kind, so we recommend as soon as possible especially for the Alice in Wonderland Theme & Circus Carnival Theme rentals. Rentals are on a First come, First serve Basis. We do NOT hold orders without a Deposit.
What areas do you deliver to and provide services to?
We Service the Inland Empire, ($800.00 -$1,000.00) Los Angeles County,($1,500.00) Orange County area,($2,000.00 -$2,500.00)
& San Diego area($5,000.00) as well. Travel mileage does apply according to each individual location. (Each County has a Minimum Rental order amount for Delivery & Pickup $800.00-$1,000.00)
Sorry, due to damages, we no longer ship out of California.
How Much is a Deposit for a Rental Order?
Deposits are 30%-40% of your total rental order.
Miscellaneous Charges?
You may be charged a Late fee if rentals are not returned by the given date and time. Late fees are $45.00 Per day they are not returned. Pickup and Return times scheduled per each client Friday/Monday. All rentals must be checked out and checked back in by a Chakoda Design Employee. Rental Order will be charged tax. After hours event pickup times: Same day pickup (includes venues) anytime after 9:00 PM for pickup will be an additional $100.00/$250.00 (12 MIDNIGHT) EXPRESS fee. There will also be a $95.00 Certificate of Liability charge if you would like to add your event venue on to our insurance for your event.

Do you ship out of state?
Unfortunately, we don't. Due to past experiences
with items returning back damaged during shipping transit.
Can I come see the items you carry?
Absolutely, We do require to schedule an appointment to come in,
due to our busy schedule. You can email us at least 7 days prior to
the day you would like to come in, with a list of items you are interested in viewing, as well as your contact information- and we will let you know if that date is available.
If I order more than a few items, can I receive a discount?
Sorry, we don't give discounts. However, depending on the amount of your
rental order we can include additional rental item at a waived fee for you-
as a Thank you from us!
Can I substitute items in your package for something else?
Sorry, due to past situations of confusion and booked items- we no longer
substitute items in packages. All packages are as listed. You are more than
welcome to add additional rental items to your package. All prices are as listed on our website.
Is there certain rental items that must be
delivered by Chakoda Design?
Yes, certain items Must be delivered and can not be picked up by client.
All Concession carts must be delivered, in
order to due so there is a minimum rental order of $1,000.00+(depending on city) plus additional
mileage charge. Amount depends on actual delivery/pickup location.
